How it works - MESSAGING

Introduction: 

Here we explain how to use the powerful messaging feature on www.psychicworld.com. This feature enables EXPERTS (Psychics) to send (or broadcast) individual custom messages to all their contacts. We define a contact as any user (customer) that was at least once directly in contact with an EXPERT during a chat session but also any user (customer) that tried to reach an EXPERT at least once and never got through (missed chat request). 

How to use it: 

When you log in, you can use messaging to any of your existing or new contacts as a tool to (re)activate users (customers). Inform the user(s) that you are connected now and availale for a reading, or that you have new insights regarding a previous discussion. You can also use it to broadcast a promotion of your choice (think about for eg: giving away 2 free minutes during a live session of minimum 10 minutes). 

Step-by-step: 

 

1) Where do you find the messaging tab

You find the messaging tab in the top right corner when logged in (1), click on the enveloppe or letter to go to your INBOX. Alternatively you can click on your name. This leads your to the PROFILE view. Under the tab general and above the tab contacts you will find the NEW! tab: CONVERSATIONS (2).

2) Inbox view (conversations)

When you select the enveloppe on top or click on the CONVERSATIONS tab you will be redirected to the following list view of all your messages. In this example there is only one message. For every message you have 3 columns: 

*WITH: the name of the user you messaged. This name also appears in your contacts. 

*SUBJECT: the title or header of the message you sent to this user. 

*DATE: the date + timestamp of when you messaged the user.

3) Write a new message

In order to send a message you either click on NEW MESSAGE in the conversations page or you click on the NEW MESSAGE button linked to users in your contact list. This will take you to the following page where you will see the name of the contact you are about to message and two input fileds. Fill-in the subject field (mandatory) and write a short friendly and welcoming message in the message field (mandatory).

Example of subject + message: 

SUBJECT: Dear "Name User" I am available on Psychicworld.com for the next 4 hours 

MESSAGE: I hope all is well and that you enjoyed our last session as much as I did. If you have any other life issues you would like to discuss I will be available coming hours. Hope this message finds you well. Friendly yours. "Name Expert"

4) Send message and reply

Once you send a message it will appear in the recognizable chat view (in the form of a dialogue). You can delete the message if the content is erroneous. In this messaging view you will also receive and see the replies of users.

5) Contact list 

The expert contact list is automatically generated for you by the platform. All users you ever interracted with are automatically added to your contacts. We also add users who tried to connect with you but who never got through (missed chat requests). For every contact you will see their name, the date they were added to your contacts as well as 2 buttons: 

MESSAGE: which will open the send a new message page. 

BLOCK: which will stop this user from reaching out to you in the future (Notice: block is not an IP block, it simply prevents blocked user  from messaging you. He or she can still request a regular chat session).

6) Get paid for messages 

***IMPORTANT*** This is one of PsychicWorld's best kept secrets. You can ask money for sending a message to a customer through the messaging feature (thus not only in a live chat). Let's say you agreed to devise a detailed year horoscope for a customer. First, initiate a thread with a customer as described in steps 1 to 5 here above. You can then send premium messages and charge any amount you like for it as follows:  

How it works? Simple. 

 

SELECT CHARGE at the bottom left side of the text input field (Don't forget to paste your premium content first). 

 

ENTER PRICE you want to charge the customer for the premium message. In this example $ 40. 

 

SEND MESSAGE. Customer receives an email informing her or him that there is new message available on www.psychicworld.com

 

PAY-PER-READ. User can only read the message after having paid the requested amount. 

 

BONUS FEATURE! You can also use the messaging feature to send free minutes to your favorite customers. Chose the # of minuets your want to give away. 

 

SEND FREE MINUTES. User then receives a notification + a message informing him or her that you give her or him free credits. The perefect way to re-initiate the dialogue and keep customers loyal and engaged.
