Every night, thousands of people open a chat window on PsychicWorld and type the thing they can't say out loud anywhere else. Is he coming back. Does he actually love me. Is there someone else. These are their stories.

Each episode is a real conversation, retold by the person who had it. Names and identifying details are changed, and every story is shared with permission. No verdicts, no crystal-ball clichés: just what was asked, what the advisor actually said, and what happened next. A new story lands every Tuesday.

How this series was born

The first reading on PsychicWorld happened in the winter of 2016. In the ten years since, our advisors have sat on the other side of the world's 2am questions through nearly half a million conversations with more than a hundred thousand customers. Behind those numbers sits a quiet archive of worries, turning points and endings nobody else ever heard.

Most of those stories belong in the dark where they were told, and that's where they stay. But some of them changed things: a conversation that reopened a marriage, or ended one honestly, or let someone finally sleep. So we asked our most senior advisors to reach back out to a handful of the customers whose stories had stayed with them, and to ask one careful question: would you let us share this?

The answer, again and again, was yes, if you change my name. Every story in this series is published with the customer's permission, anonymised until they couldn't be recognised by their own sister, and checked by the advisor who was actually in the conversation. That's the deal that made Asked at 2AM possible, and it's the deal we'll keep for every episode that follows.
